My Story
Hey there, friends! I'm Rochelle Love Morrison, the creative mind behind the Bible Heroes book series. 📚✨
Let me give you a glimpse into my world. I hail from the beautiful state of Utah, where I met my amazing husband at church. We're proof that love can blossom in the most unexpected places—I mean, who knew a young single adult ward would lead to 30 years of wedded bliss? Time sure does fly when you're having fun!
Now, onto my pride and joy—my five incredible kids. Three girls, two boys, and let me tell you, they're the light of my life. And as if that wasn't enough, I'm also blessed with two of the cutest grandsons you'll ever lay eyes on. Being a Grandma is an absolute joy, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. 💖
As for my day-to-day, I've been fortunate enough to stay at home with my kiddos, homeschooling them for the past three years. It's been a wild ride, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Now, let's talk about the genesis of the Bible Heroes series. When COVID hit, I felt a stirring within me—a calling, if you will—to share the stories of Bible Heroes in a way that kids could truly connect with. It was a daunting challenge for someone who once doubted her own intelligence, but with a little research and a lot of courage, I dove in headfirst.
My inspiration? None other than my beloved Grandma Love. She was my rock, my cheerleader, and my guiding light. Her wisdom and love shaped me into the person I am today, and I'm forever grateful for her influence.
As I penned these stories, I found myself asking the same questions I would if I were a child hearing them for the first time. So, I did what any storyteller would do—I added them in! And with each question, I could almost hear my Grandma's gentle voice offering up her sage advice.
I'm beyond thrilled about these books and the opportunity to bring the gospel to children in a way that's relatable and enjoyable. It's my hope and prayer that through this adventure, parents everywhere will find a new way to connect with their little ones and foster a love for learning and faith. 🙏✨
